Make A Stand is underway!! 

We added an extra pick up date so there are still three pick up dates left! 

Looking for a way for kids to give back this summer and have some fun?  Host a lemonade stand.  The Laura Crandall Brown Foundation and Hope for Autumn Foundation are again partnering together on the Make a Stand initiative to raise funds for research, awareness, and support services for women's and pediatric cancers.  

How it Works: You provide the kidpower, and we will provide the lemonade stand kits, sponsored by Milo’s Famous Tea!  Each kit includes 2 gallons of lemonade, cups, and a blank banner for decoration. Choose a pick up date from one of the following dates: June 16th, 23rd or 30th, and pick up your kit from The Cajun Cleaver in Hoover.  Host your lemonade stand at the time and location of your choice between June 10th and July 10th.  (Please note that Milo’s Lemonade is perishable, so please choose the pick-up date closest to the date you think you will host your stand.)  Collect and return the donated funds and make a difference in the lives of women and children affected by GYN and pediatric cancers! Prizes will be given to the top 3 fundraising teams as well as the best lemonade stand banner design.  We have great prizes from Red Mountain Park, McWane Science Center and The Whole Scoop!!

Coming up in September - Our 7th Annual Head Over Teal

 5k/10k, 1 Mile fun run/walk and Family Fall Festival

We will be holding our 7th annual race this September 24th, 2016 at 8:00 am at The Hoover Preserve. There will be a 10k/5k and a 1 mile fun run.  This year we are also having a Family Fall Festival with a bounce house, face paint and many more fun fall festivities!!  So please bring the whole family out and support our cause!

September Storytelling

Call to Action!! We need your stories!!  To increase GYN cancer awareness in September, we are collaborating with our Head over Teal race this year to do September Storytelling!!  We are asking people to tell their stories and use those stories to drive attention to our cause and fundraising pages for the event.
